The client is a Swiss protocol team preparing for external security audits while facing growing questions from partners and regulators about how their contracts were controlled. In DeFi, the evidence behind a review matters as much as the review itself.

Their controls and audit evidence lived in scattered documents and engineers' heads, so every audit began as a scramble to reassemble a story that was never written down.

Each audit cycle started from scratch, with the team hand-collecting test results, static-analysis output and change history the week before the auditors arrived. The evidence existed but was never in one inspectable place.

Because nothing was captured continuously, gaps only surfaced late, forcing rushed fixes under audit pressure. Discovering a control gap during the audit is the most expensive time to find it.
