The story

Problem, approach, and the outcome

About the client

The client is a Singapore digital wealth platform helping self-directed investors manage crypto holdings alongside their wider portfolios. For a wealth product, a clear and trustworthy view of what a client holds is the foundation of every decision.

Their users held assets across several chains but had no single non-custodial place to see and act on them, forcing a scatter of apps and custodial services that undermined the platform's advisory relationship.

The challenge

Investors held positions across Ethereum, Base, and other chains, but tracking them meant juggling multiple wallets and block explorers with no consolidated view. A fragmented picture makes confident portfolio decisions impossible.

Moving between chains relied on unfamiliar bridges and custodial swap services, which added both cost and counterparty risk at exactly the wrong moment. Every extra intermediary is another point of trust the client did not want to depend on.

The platform needed one non-custodial mobile wallet that unified holdings, swaps, and bridging while keeping keys firmly in the user's hands. Convenience could not come at the price of custody.

Our approach

We built a React Native wallet with non-custodial key management, so private keys never left the device and the platform never took custody. Keeping keys on the device is the whole point of the product's trust model.

Multi-chain watchlists and live portfolio tracking aggregated balances and positions across Ethereum and Base into a single current view, with in-app swap and bridge flows removing the need for external services. Consolidating holdings and actions in one place is what turns scattered wallets into a usable portfolio tool.

WalletConnect handled secure dApp sessions, and we hardened the swap and bridge contract interactions with threat modelling and test coverage before release. Investors got a unified, self-custodied view without inheriting bridge or custody risk.

Results
  • Unified multi-chain view across Ethereum and Base
  • Keys stay on-device, fully non-custodial
  • In-app swap and bridge, no external custodial services
  • Contract interactions hardened and tested before release
